Bill Chan Campaign participates in the City of Toronto Contribution Rebate Program. Eligible monetary contributions may qualify for a rebate from the City of Toronto. The examples below use the contributor’s total eligible monetary contributions to all participating candidates.

*Rebate amounts are based on your total monetary contributions to all candidates participating in the City of Toronto Contribution Rebate Program, not only this campaign. Total eligible contributions of $25 or less do not receive a rebate. The maximum rebate a contributor can receive is $1,000. Eligibility and rebate payment are determined by the City of Toronto.
To claim a rebate, you must receive an official Contribution Rebate Receipt and Application Form from the campaign and follow the City of Toronto application requirements.
If a contributor’s total contributions to this campaign exceed $100, the contributor’s name and address must be reported on the campaign financial statement, which is a public document. Municipal campaign contribution receipts are not federal or provincial income-tax receipts.
